An interesting question I wonder how many -- you. If by you lost your job tomorrow would know how old to get all of the benefits you could possibly yet because I have got to tell you I wouldn't. -- unemployment which the last I was talking about. Either the B two guards there is the -- Loans. And I say the -- we have a lady ready from the Cleveland the Cleveland or was it Detroit not that it really matters because this is. This is classic this is must listen to right here and you probably thought forgot about this woman but she still has been captured forever on. Audio. We got Obama cool yeah. I I don't problem. Get well Bob can't president didn't know -- but the ball didn't cool car but he didn't -- And I'm very you'll bulls fans love child can be the bad you know it. -- -- -- what's on the ground again and. Com. I don't put him back to get a call that on Friday when we had the presidents and Steve all stuck in studio talking about how we need to explain the Second Amendment to people. And realizing that. For some folks it just isn't ever gonna make eye duels -- beings were the difference. Because they're just not gonna get it anyway. They want. They just won't get it. Now I start off the show that the whole thing -- today actually what are the what are work that you would use to describe today's show. -- forget -- take that off the table. That give them a few others not a product the one word what is the common and trust trust has been the commentary of today's program. And this is up all flash relating to our it dropped hold I -- stick around because. This this is if this is good. Let me ask you question folks. All the you know one of the things are totally forgot about I was gonna get into those -- you more pastors and churches. You don't have money you have discretionary funds you also have -- available at your church is in many cases. And I know I talked about this once before. A long time ago on the morning -- But. Those -- view. Who are in charge of churches and disbursing discretionary food to gift cards for grocery stores etc. You are supposed to be people of Christ men and women of god I'm sure synagogues in the mosques ran into the same thing. But. They're not -- hot -- of people who will go around from church to church you have never seen in the before. They have no connection to your church other than they saw it in the phone book and they try and which it often. About telling your stories. To tell me your stories. Those of you in that I don't work. Because I know that those people are out they're not just the ministers but I mean the marchers many of the villagers. Up -- church to church to church to church just to see what they can get for free. They look at a church like you look at top to wegmans. Now. I don't know what they do for sporting events. Think about that for a moment where did you go for sporting parents. And I think it -- Or. The other one. Oh up sprawl that's what I effectiveness -- beautiful waterfront location legal force but. The common denominator in today's show is in the -- of trust. And let me get the phone number because I guarantee you're gonna say oh my gosh he's yelling he's elegant. 8030930. Is the -- number 8030930. Start -- thirty on the cell phone 180616. WB EN this is a story from the Associated Press which ordinarily I don't police but in this case it may have to. Americans don't trust each other anymore. We know we're not talking about a loss of faith in big institutions like the government the church or Wall Street. For four decades. A gut level -- a democracy trust in the other fellow. Has been quietly draining away these days only 13. Of Americans say most people can't be trusted. Have felt that way in 1972. Now nearly two thirds of the people asked say you can't be too careful in dealing with people. I must say that at this point I'm among the two thirds. Who might trust has been so shattered. And so shaken. In some of my fellow human beings. -- I don't know that I'm ever gonna get it back. I don't know that it's possible. At least for the foreseeable future. The whole trust idea. Do you trust the other fellow. Do you trust the other lady. No Cesar. Trusted. His son. Reports. And is very famous line. Supposedly one of Julius caesar's last Julius Caesar but always been mentioned a couple of times in the show it to pay you to Brutus. In other words everybody else's data to -- now you my son you're gonna get him out of two. And at that point he basically gave up the ghost. -- that you trust people. Joseph how to scale of one to ten do you trust people zero being you trust nobody and meaning you're probably to trust. Ten being like I would describe -- You almost have to be an Angel to have -- and level of trust and people like the virgin Connie -- in dragnet. I describe this last week there's a scene where she's escaping from people or try to killer so she kicks one guy squat -- -- really would really hurt and that Jesus all of terribly sorry. There are people like that. All right you're is that norm in Orchard Park on WB -- normally you're on hello. Count them on don't I don't know anyone mention debt there at the casino went out and other cheered at and I thought oh Q. -- -- But she won't change our hundred dollar bill and it's machine where you can change money I make it funny and you can turn in a winning check it. And it -- the fanatic that said we expect EDT art. Outstanding. Outstanding. It. I you know what. Gambling is not a place of mine I've ever going to make a walk through a casino is one among my way to a concert at a casino. Boat. We actually go down lectured about say that everybody else like -- you. A little night that he got hurt is -- in ten minutes and I get people latched. Yeah they don't have it wrong about some moral crusader against casinos I think it's entertainment money you can do with a that you play is that your money now mine. But when you start talking about EBT yards and and somebody if somebody -- using that money which ought to be used to feed their family. To gamble it reminds me of the movie casino where this guy comes -- Joseph Pesci. Saying he turned off the lights and Joseph -- says he gambled it didn't share. -- on a couple guys in the street -- argue gambled it. You know you wife called tell me the heat got turned off to a little kids at all they do they are off. There's there's more that dialogue but I'm afraid if I continue it I'm simply going to end up swearing on the year. Tell me why not put EB -- cards why not make them. Available for use at the local or cocaine or cracker popular. Why not let them except that EBT cards. Well when you -- to children. It just breaks my heart that you know. They're being currently being used again I mean. Spirited it's if your children. Well that's what it was supposed to be unfortunately. You know there are people who regard that as -- free money end you know our our beneficent as a nation. Is challenged by those who abuse -- game. This system. That's EB speaker not be confused with unemployment of course but. You actually he's seen anybody do this with -- EB -- art. We can't really you know cash. A that it shouldn't -- Our attention that looks at the overall -- you're standing -- little bit. Are you. Know it's like that -- by the cool or yeah. You can't really it would anybody else in the side his right there we expect EDT. While. While. I'm glad you did and now I feel even more ashamed to be -- by -- To walk upright on two legs all right thank you very much -- folks again. This -- gets back to I think a level of trust. How much do you trust the government here let's start out there do you trust the government. I don't trust the government. You have a lot more trust in the government that I now do. But something is changed it's called maturity. It's called a sense of historical perspective. And I no longer trust government at most levels. State government like draft Andrew Cuomo. I wouldn't trust Andrew Cuomo. -- not mess up a cup -- That's how much I trust him Sheldon Silver. The dean spell out why trust them no not at all not the least. Why trust president OOK. Let's that he and just -- that he be silly. But let's let's not even joked about you know my answer is going to be. The best level of government service. Did you receive. Typically in most places is your local government. Now I told -- story people or about. The village of William Israel and the town of Amherst almost instantaneously. Taking care about. A possible well actually a manhole cover that was just way too deep. Causing anybody who ran over it to basically you know break their backs and stuff. And they still covered up that story about the school bus filled with gifted math whizzes. That is still plunging toward the center of the earth children screaming inside as it plunges down having gone through that pot hole. Yep media covered it's Korea you know repeated but the -- people in the what is no people just immediately on it all over. And that that's that's government service. The state state doesn't move that -- the federal government it doesn't move past what you've got connections. He got connections. Sometimes you can speed things up a little bit. Do you trust. You trust your family. You trust your kids. You trust your teenage kids. At this up if there's a group. If there is a demographic. Less deserving of trust in the teenage youth in America. I'd be hard pressed to name it. When you're a parent. Anything your kids say should be considered suspect. Between the ages of ten and twenty. And it's debatable whether you wanna go further than that. That is debatable. Because -- Your kids you want to believe the best -- your kids you wanna believe they walk around with -- you wanna believe that every word from their mouth is gospel truth. But when you think back to what you were a teenager. How many scams that applaud her parents. Hey -- go to thought Joe's house. Oops how I end up on the other senate -- this party. What an amazing. Amazing case of a time travel I've just done. Do you trust your -- Mean. Including. -- -- -- -- -- -- How can really be sure. How do you really ascertain. Whether that trust is well placed. I -- with the other. And we did it show couple weeks ago. Do you trust your boss your employer. Do you trust your neighbor who do you trust anymore. I'm getting to the point where I only trust family members and even then only certain -- remembers. Maybe that's pathetic. But it's just one of those dissolution days. Doing very. Dissolution. All right it is twenty minutes after -- -- news radio nine parity to odd day do you trust. -- the the operative word today show has been trust. If you think about it. And whom you trust. Whom you choose to believe. You know -- -- so look into -- continuing our conversation about those of you who have spotted people gaming the system. I promise you -- on this a while back I am now deliver. Gaming the system. And speaking of trust. Have you ever been burdened. If I guess the best example I can think -- is. Somebody comes to you based -- -- a real pinch you help them out. The understanding is they're gonna pay it back and that's elasticity of I wouldn't let anybody in that situation were never wanted to get involved and anything like that again. Mean most people are kind -- most people you know try to do the right thing I think they are. What's on his living in some kind of a kaleidoscope Lander Alice in Wonderland. And I would look good and dress. Believe me a -- here's -- -- got WB yen mark I have to Wear a dress for the next year otherwise they won't do the surgery what's undermines. If you're then -- -- -- go -- a -- -- blues song ever remember the name of the song but the lion went. Nobody targeted troops but my mama and I think she may -- -- and true. It. I can't think of a player. I -- -- an administration I just don't know what is. Well no it's not Wes Montgomery. Is there a possibility it could have been I wanna say Bo Diddley. A lot of they've -- to look let's just look that up -- nobody tell me the truth. Is nobody element the truth but my mama. Although I think she -- judgment to. Mama may be jive and let's see what comes up on the Internet. Black dynamite. -- nobody scare in me know whom don't wanna read that one. Nobody loves me but my mother BB king which is interesting because BB -- has made a mother of about fifty different women in his life. He's a very nice guy perhaps has away with the ladies. -- I I'm not finding this off. Well I'm not finding. I'll try to find out until late next Sunday. I'll weigh -- a nobody told me the truth that hole -- one more little thing. Now I keep coming up with the BB king. -- -- jive. Yeah out I don't think I don't think it's BB. But I I could be wrong. Somebody's got to know out there we a lot of music experts. Somebody -- -- didn't particular subject I think it's a sad situation our generation. Is. China the second. Generation from the greatest generation. And today's generation who just doesn't have a handle -- troops than. Doing the right thing for me it's unfortunate it's also an atmosphere -- -- it's about. Well it's continual continuing continue to have that trust that -- little girl. Why do you think that is because I haven't Syria and just as I've theories on many things some of the attacker actually valid other's largest maker. Well. I don't the scriptures say that -- glove would grow cold in the later. That's one thing I mean obviously election -- like that are little people wherever it's not time and so you can at center. Lose sight of what's really real -- good broader trend and. Please feel little more consistent I mean there was a lot of eleven Sodom and Gomorrah look what happened there now we're being accused of -- love grow cold and not what. What went with -- without them forests. I don't know I don't wanna -- -- or -- I mean seriously make up its mind. Go forth and multiply it okay go -- and -- -- that's just wrong to get in his group to arguments on anyway. OK so what. -- theory but I want I want about some things obviously you wanna stick around through news. Are protesting about do you trust anybody. Who do you trust if you lost trust in people. I have a -- Those -- you listen to be long enough know where my theory begins now let if you have a listen -- me long enough. Prepare for brilliance on news radio 930 WB Ian has it will it will rock your world is gonna give -- -- whole new way to look at American society wide because of cultural anthropologist. And I am. I often amazed myself. -- -- This movie huh. I yeah. -- -- -- Some. -- Yeah. -- All they haven't won a bet that now that I played a song he's gonna duck. Oh we are -- it's 634. At WB EM well I killed -- -- Bergen Bob Welch and a few others along the way. So let me guess you just play music by people who were already no longer with Paris. Don't think that that by the way I don't think for a minute that I don't in some weird universal. Most weight think that there might be relationship. -- -- let's get back to. That the bomb but usually will pop -- it and we're talking about why people don't trust any thing or anybody anymore. Mark -- direct. It's just looked up that blues song eight nobody told me the truth except my mom that she might be Java me too. Now -- charger at all from work I got my head and so once safe but. Oh look at Africa back one day I'm sure somebody may call it -- logical way. Yet to make me say if needed to about fifteen minutes under a scalpel and about two stitches but that's another story. Now let's let's just review my theory would you like to be my -- My -- America's loss of faith began November 22 1963. When president Kennedy was assassinated. Because most thinking Americans once the dust settled realize that there are an awful lot of questions about that assassination. They realize that the Warren commission report was. Eight an egregiously. Flawed document. And if Lee Harvey Oswald and had Paul Camry -- represented him. -- that he -- walked because I don't think there was enough evidence to convict him of Jay walking that day. But that's just me. And I believe I firmly believe that that was the beginning. At the end of trust in America along with LB today. Victory. In Vietnam I don't do good LBJ but it doesn't matter if nobody remembers now he's out of like anyway I just imagine a seven year old to smoke a lot. Probably toward Vietnam. Light at the end of the tunnel. And take more pain and more sacrifice. That we're gonna whip in southeast Asia. And again that was a lot President Nixon. For all the good he did he also was a serial liar. Watergate coverup -- people laugh my theory of the Kennedy conspiracy. There's a Watergate conspiracy to the only reason I got broken wide open with because of a security guard at the Watergate complex and the story. Now you consider Iran Contra. Where we were basically well I don't have to go into Iran Contra but your government has been lying to you. For a long time on a regular basis and of course mart more recently in the lifetime of most of the people listening to the program right now. Like -- keep a doctor like you know you keep your doctor you -- -- what do 500 dollars a year. When you have a government with no pride. With no respect for the American people. We have a government that is composed and comprised of serial liars and has been for quite some time is it any surprise that people are skeptical. Of one another. At a time here going what I think most people feel in the country today. Well all over I mean most people feel the same way they can ethical and they're just -- early payment already all over the country whoever it was simply. And I'm sure -- allowed -- -- but if you it as another example. A few leader Barack Bill O'Reilly show I watched him or her view the river shortly after he left -- yes -- that down. -- from CBS. And they were talking about Bill Clinton propensity. To -- Okay. We won't -- there every. And the reverse something so outrageous. I thought it was very typical work society there. And a model sporting related companies said. Just because the man doesn't -- true. Does that make him a liar. But. What struck -- Well there. The only reason they -- could say that is if you don't intend -- to mislead me you might actually believe the sabres are gonna win the Stanley Cup this year doesn't make -- a -- On an election try to make me believe that and get me to do something I don't think that makes a liar. I think that the intent must beat him is lead and clearly the president did that President Clinton did that President Bush did it they've all done. Well as we don't know how it all depends on what -- candidates. And you have in very infamous but. I really think though and I'm not saying that every president prior to the Kennedy assassination was an Angel. Neither are people now well I guess the long dead. Who used to be you know big time intelligence operatives who say JFK lied -- he promised air support for Bay of Pigs and -- when push comes to crunch he did not provide it and there are guys got wiped out on the beaches and tortured and executed. And it regarded JFK is a big liar. Why did they give it up didn't -- that a few other -- But what I will I won't hold up forever my friend but we we've watched a -- of but the value of true. -- -- -- they would blush -- -- The there's a good sense of what you want to low regard truth that there isn't the truth if we say that there is a true. Then we were acknowledging -- that there is a weight -- But now. We don't actually true with the relevant to the situation so really it doesn't matter -- it -- it doesn't matter -- there really is no right or wrong that you have to. So look for a quote. White light -- accomplished what you're you're in theaters are torture goal and that's okay. And we shouldn't everywhere permanent structure. Sometimes you know what sometimes people tell white lies for example. Are you married. OK if your wife pot. Okay -- this year of any part of her that she's not happy. OK now when she puts a dress and she says on -- disaster just make my butt look bit. They're the only way to answer that is sweetheart. You are absolutely gorgeous why would you even begin to think that went deep inside you know that it. -- Butler just don't teller that. Injected which you know what -- we have such a good relationship that I look at her with a twinkle in my own state. It's a trick question. Well I do the same thing with Gina I mean united site to older -- that brown leather jacket yours who's got ago. I just I just -- it finally came out apparently that I can't take it anymore it doesn't do you any justice it's no good. And that's the last I spoke -- about. Anyway. I will love I'll talk to you soon there. You wouldn't want lifting my friend the bottom line is that truth will set -- -- and molecular but were able little. -- -- You know it's interesting because. The truth shall set you free also happens to be engraved in Langley Virginia at a little place called the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency. -- -- -- -- You know what I'm grateful for the CIA and the good people at CIA who live in shadows. And I could that mean that anymore a lot of -- a lot of good people at CIA and they're not everybody at CIA is an Obama -- believe me. Thanks very much. All right I appreciate that now and you know what there's only two people like they get a good grasp of the truth and human nature true well it only to. There have been a number of people who've had a pretty good grasp on truth number one Jesus Christ. Tom you're not a question how can you say that. Do you think that I don't read the words of Jesus and say. Dan. I mean this is profound stuff I'm late night use it amendment say quite that thing but I believe he is. And I know this sounds really bizarre for me to be saying this but he really is a hero. He was a guy who all the right words hit all the right times his parables. Nothing short of genius. And I just -- And when it when the text in the new testament is in red indicating who were spoken by Jesus I pay special attention. William Shakespeare spoke the truth he had a tremendous grasp of human nature. How many times that I referred to Shakespeare. Why because so many things he was heard nothing at which he was not a master. No he was a master every. I even a sociologist like Boswell. Who came up with the hierarchy of needs theory to me that's true. That's true. And if you're not familiar whether or been along for instance high school sociology your college sociology. Basically. My -- theory is that we all have these needs we have fundamental physical needs that must be tended to that we've got our psychological needs that must -- tended -- at the very tippy top we've got that need to be respected by people. And it's there's much more to it but it's really brilliant stuff real I mean seriously totally awesome. I can often lose myself in some of Muslims -- let's go to wedge at the end of buffalo JT where's your trust level. -- -- -- JT. Is this the guy whose fiance was a blanket around. You know -- talk now. All right we'll see if he's still their babies in and in the throes of sobbing. Which I would understand and his fiance was going around. You know unless you've got an open relationship. Anyway it's 644. At the WBE and 8030930. Start at 3180616. WB yeah. Well I guess the guy. I. I'd say he chickened out but that that makes it seem like. It'd agent conduct and about. Well I mean that's not gonna make a lot of people wanna talk about publicly the fact it is that the -- he cheated on him but -- tell you this. It is better now than it would've been had gotten married and short of the public lives. You know folks. See here here comes the passion back. It is your older but if I was all passion all the time I'd fall asleep it's I don't know -- But. This is why I always end every show by saying no yourself. And this fiancee did not know herself. She thought she knew what you want it the guy I was calling them but she didn't. She wasn't ready to settle -- she wasn't ready for one guy. So she did not know herself. And sir there's no embarrassment in what happened the you've been there I've been there everybody in the world. Has experienced -- everybody. Everybody in the world has gone through duplicity. Everybody in the world has had bad experiences. Exactly like its. Now there are few people I know. Who actually did meet its high school sweethearts who are still married to this day. And they have been 100%. Loyal and faithful in every way shape and form to their spouse. Now. I don't know how that's possible but I mean people are constituted in different ways. Right so there's one person. To whom you can never -- You know that is. No it's not under oath in a courtroom -- even then people have been known to stretch the truth. The one person too long you can never -- successful. Is yourself. Some people try to. But in the end it all comes out to yourself. So when I say at the end of every show -- were -- jambalaya. No yourself this is one of the things. About which I'm talking. I know it sounds great. All I'm gonna get engaged on Christmas Eve I'm gonna pop the question on Christmas Day your New Year's Eve. But before you do that. You really really really really really really really need to know. Exactly. What you and the other person are expecting from a relationship. What are you truly expect. Not what you want. What you need for you. Because if you end up getting married. And you feel as though you're in prison. You feel as though there's no getting out. You feel as though you've made a horrible mistake. I had to say do you untold misery by telling you ask yourself and the person who intend to Mary. Some very. Difficult. Questions which will require your absolute honesty. And it's the same thing folks on it and I mentioned that simply because that was the last call that didn't wanna come on the year and for whom my heart does bleak. Your -- of course you do. So there are other things people lie to themselves about careers. People lie to themselves about their jobs. You know some people live in the state of. Of of. -- we say this or cranial rectal inversion. -- I call it cerebral and broker races. Cerebral. Inversion means head up your you know what. And it's as cerebral and -- freeze as means your brain is full pool mean some people do that to themselves. Some people now they do. For example you know for a long time the people over at the local newspaper. I think a quite didn't understand that whole Internet thing. And the whole idea that the print newspaper is going to go away of the print magazines. Except of course the ones with pictures of pregnant celebrities and stuff. Bigger finally started to get it we got it ages ago. There are people who are in lines of work that are going to be around forever. -- much longer. There are people. Again you have to be honest with yourself but you can't control folks. You know what the winds of life are going to -- you. Sometimes it overwhelm you sometimes are gonna swap. And sometimes there's nothing you can do but ride the storm out. Maybe the waves of knocked off your runner the sales ripped and you just got a goal with where the wind texture. Go ahead do because sometimes you might find some good adventures they're. Just remember something ago. You're not always in control of your destiny. And you certainly are not in control of your destiny from other outside forces. The only thing fundamentally. Over which you have control. Is. Yourself. And being honest within yourself. About what you like to do. How do you envision spending your life. Whether you really are. A one man woman. Or one woman man. Or against these days of one man man and one woman woman. Or one transsexual man and a VW a lot of on the why bother you gotta be honest about that stuff. Because if you're not. I've -- you misery. Misery misery misery. And you can send me a tip I've got to like I just a couple of virtual -- sure -- get back. They're not getting any journal. And you guys you guys read that the -- -- or I should say vilified. The program today and for that I am a grateful at least for the next twenty hours or so thanks to Joseph -- Thanks to Chelsea. And I will leave you with those two words that are. Extremely important those two words. You know they are. -- Yourself.
